However, when I try to create a new 2-Way Fluent node for a custom project, Rocky&rsquo;s automatic validation fails with:<\/p>\n<p>Coupling errors:<br \/>No mesh_info.json file was found.<\/p>\n<p>Coupling warnings:<br \/>Current Fluent build id 10262 may not be compatible with Rocky-Fluent compiled UDFs with build id 10261.<\/p>\n<p>What I have checked:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>The Fluent CAS file uses a fully ASCII path.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The CAS contains 72,970 fluid cells.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The same CAS can be opened independently in Fluent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Using the Rocky-supplied UDF mesh-check functions in Fluent gives rocky\/is_mesh_valid = #t and successfully generates mesh_info.json.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Rocky&rsquo;s Options &gt; Ansys &gt; Install Fluent\/Rocky export command completes successfully, but the warning remains.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>After the automatic validation fails, Rocky does not create the 2-Way Fluent node.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I am not certain whether the build-number difference is the actual cause or only a warning. Could Ansys please help confirm:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>What should be checked when a new 2-Way Fluent node reports &ldquo;No mesh_info.json&rdquo; even though the CAS mesh passes the Rocky UDF mesh validation?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Is there an official update or supported repair procedure for the Fluent\/Rocky integration files in Ansys Student 2026 R1?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Why can the existing Tutorial 14 restart coupling run, while validation for a newly created coupling node fails?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have not modified the official Scheme scripts, compiled UDFs, mesh_info.json, or validation cache.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-462879","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-cfd-dem-2","topic-tag-fluent-1","topic-tag-rocky-dem-1","topic-tag-two-way-coupling"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hello, I am using Ansys Rocky 2026 R1 Academic Student together with Fluent 2026 R1.
