This will definitely make running my simulations on an HPC way less of a headache. However, I’ve hit a snag when it comes to setting species boundary conditions with the TUI window when I’m using a large chemical mechanism:<\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/25-06-2026-1782428318-mceclip0.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/25-06-2026-1782428357-mceclip1.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/25-06-2026-1782428380-mceclip2.png\" \/><\/p><p>Fluent forces me to go down the whole list of species instead of being able to choose just the specifc ones I want to set. This chemical mechanism only has 31 species and it’s already a chore trying to go down the list, nevermind trying to type out the full sequence in a journal file. Is there a way to be more targeted with the species boundary conditions with TUI commands and journal?<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-460374","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_topic_id":["460374"],"_bbp_subscription":["302346","199842","199"],"_bbp_author_ip":["149.149.2.215"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["460393"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["460393"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2026-06-26 08:27:45"],"_bbp_reply_count":["6"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_engagement":["302346","199842","199"],"_btv_view_count":["32"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"]},"test":"abtharpe42tntech-edu"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/460374","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/460374\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=460374"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
