On the remaining part of the cylinder, very few or no arrows are shown at all.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;738&#8243; data-end=&#8221;888&#8243;&gt;The cylinder is a continuous surface and I would expect the normals and orientation vectors to be displayed uniformly around the entire circumference.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;890&#8243; data-end=&#8221;913&#8243;&gt;I have already checked:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;ul data-start=&#8221;914&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1007&#8243;&gt;&lt;li data-section-id=&#8221;25maib&#8221; data-start=&#8221;914&#8243; data-end=&#8221;934&#8243;&gt;Rosette definition<\/li>\n<p>&lt;li data-section-id=&#8221;1iuoxe8&#8243; data-start=&#8221;935&#8243; data-end=&#8221;964&#8243;&gt;Coordinate system alignment<\/li>\n<p>&lt;li data-section-id=&#8221;rah9y6&#8243; data-start=&#8221;965&#8243; data-end=&#8221;992&#8243;&gt;Shell element orientation<\/li>\n<p>&lt;li data-section-id=&#8221;7fhu46&#8243; data-start=&#8221;993&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1007&#8243;&gt;Mesh quality<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&lt;p data-start=&#8221;1009&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1061&#8243;&gt;However, I have not been able to identify the cause.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;1063&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1188&#8243;&gt;My concern is that this issue may be related to the non-axisymmetric results I am obtaining later in the structural analysis.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;1190&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1337&#8243;&gt;Has anyone encountered a similar problem or can explain why ACP displays the normals and orientation vectors only on part of the cylindrical shell?&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;1339&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1430&#8243;&gt;I have attached a screenshot showing the normals (green) and orientation vectors (magenta).&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;1432&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1456&#8243;&gt;Thank you for your help.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/06\/01-06-2026-1780316417-mceclip0.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-459100","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27789"],"_bbp_topic_id":["459100"],"_bbp_subscription":["681898"],"_bbp_author_ip":["149.201.212.185"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["0"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["459100"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2026-06-01 12:20:22"],"_bbp_reply_count":["0"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["1"],"_bbp_engagement":["681898"],"_btv_view_count":["70"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"]},"test":"nabin-aryalalumni-fh-aachen-de"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/459100","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/459100\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=459100"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
