I want to be able to assign a material to the body so I can do a transient simulation and observe how the cooling changes with change of the material. Simple illustration provided below. No matter what I try, Discovery is letting me know about issues, with no guidance on how to resolve it: there is interference, remove interference, remove sharing, conducting non-slip wall assigned a temperature, etc.

Is it even possible to simulate this in Discovery? If yes, how should I set up my model? Thank you.

<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/04\/10-04-2026-1775804189-Hot Solid Inside Air Volume.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-456204","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_topic_id":["456204"],"_bbp_author_ip":["103.114.193.72"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["456955"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["456955"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2026-04-23 09:10:11"],"_bbp_reply_count":["1"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_engagement":["49319","2327"],"_btv_view_count":["83"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_edit_lock":["1775804430:49319"],"_bbp_subscription":["2327"]},"test":"mkrsmanovictesla-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/456204","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/456204\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=456204"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
