Some of the student teams are struggling to download and install Ansys software. So I am sharing the following information to get the software running on your PC\/laptops.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Guidelines for downloading &amp; installing Ansys software on laptops\/personal machines:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Customer Portal Access<\/strong>: Once you\/your professor get the license key email from us, Ansys software can be downloaded from our <a href=\"https:\/\/support.ansys.com\/portal\/site\/AnsysCustomerPortal\">customer portal<\/a>. Note that students cannot access this portal. They are not allowed to enter. So, please request your Faculty advisor (or Professor or University IT staff) to register and download the software.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Software Download:<\/strong> In Ansys customer portal, go to Download &gt; Current Release Section<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>For Fluids (CFD) &amp; structural (FEA) analysis, download the package &ldquo;Fluids &amp; Structures&rdquo;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>For Electromagnetics Analysis, download the package &ldquo;Electronics&rdquo;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>For Material library, download &ldquo;Granta Selector&rdquo;<\/li>\n<p>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\" style=\"text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style=\"font-family: Symbol; mso-fareast-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-family: Symbol;\"><span style=\"mso-list: Ignore;\">&middot;<span style=\"font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><strong>Installation: <\/strong>After downloading the software, a person who downloaded the software needs to share it with students along with license keys.
