The following are some images of the CAD:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/0d0fad30-68dd-4539-a403-abab00bb040a\/a87e3d5c-1e54-412f-83f4-abe400d4fb39_25x25-honeycomb.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"Front View (25x25 Cells present)\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/0d0fad30-68dd-4539-a403-abab00bb040a\/cfbd0cc5-baec-4804-b2a2-abe400d518f8_25x25-honeycomb-iso.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"isometric view at a corner\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>the following are the dimensions of the CAD:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/0d0fad30-68dd-4539-a403-abab00bb040a\/633a0826-7924-4f80-8ec0-abe400d5f41c_honeycomb-dimensions.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"Dimensions\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The height of the structure (in Z direction, i.e out of plane) is 1 mm<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Thickness between hexagons is 0.1 mm<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>length of hexagon side is 10 mm.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I am trying to use static structural for analysis in this case, but the meshing of the structure is taking too much time.
