I&rsquo;m working on auxetic structures parametrically, and I need the dimension shown in the first image as a numerical value.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/01\/26-01-2026-1769422501-mceclip0.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;441&#8243; data-end=&#8221;698&#8243;&gt;For linear patterning, I save this dimension as a parameter (as shown in the bottom-right). However, after using the &lt;strong data-start=&#8221;558&#8243; data-end=&#8221;574&#8243;&gt;Merge Bodies<\/strong> command, this parameter becomes &lt;strong data-start=&#8221;607&#8243; data-end=&#8221;614&#8243;&gt;0,0<\/strong> as seen in the second image, and it no longer works correctly for other parameters.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;441&#8243; data-end=&#8221;698&#8243;&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/01\/26-01-2026-1769422550-mceclip1.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;700&#8243; data-end=&#8221;753&#8243;&gt;Is there another way to track this kind of dimension?&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p data-start=&#8221;755&#8243; data-end=&#8221;1006&#8243;&gt;I actually don&rsquo;t want to control this dimension manually as a parameter. I only need its &lt;strong data-start=&#8221;844&#8243; data-end=&#8221;853&#8243;&gt;value<\/strong> &mdash; it&rsquo;s not something I want to edit directly.
