In the optiSLang Setup I added a calculation:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762391232-mceclip3.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762391258-mceclip4.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Back in Project Manager, I right-clicked optiSLangSetup1 and selected <strong>Create optiSLang Project<\/strong>:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762391294-mceclip5.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;Once optiSLang window opened I noticed that the output was added automatically. I navigated to the <strong>Variables<\/strong> tab and clicked on <strong>Instant Visulaztion<\/strong> to verify the values of the response:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762391540-mceclip7.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762392071-mceclip0.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/06-11-2025-1762392084-mceclip1.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 15pt;&#8221;&gt;My question is that <strong>why the values of x and y vectors are 0<\/strong>? Please advise if I missed a critical step. I expected these values to match the ones from the Maxell Report (<strong>Table1<\/strong>).&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;My goal is to extract a scalar force magnitude (1 value) and use it in the&nbsp;<strong>optimization objective<\/strong>.
