This is unphysical. I am using all Euler mesh, Explicit Dynamics solver. Default C4 material in the Explicit Materials tab, and steel 4340 as the wave shaper (the lead barrier). The following are diagrams of what I have been observing. Does anyone know why is this happening and how to prevent them from happening? Following are plots of pressure, where detonation happens in the lower corner, next to axis of symmetry, but the detonation wave just travels radially outwards, neglecting the barrier and the void. <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/30-09-2025-1759262484-mceclip0.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/30-09-2025-1759262484-mceclip2.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/09\/30-09-2025-1759262484-mceclip1.png\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-442726","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27814"],"_bbp_topic_id":["442726"],"_bbp_author_ip":["131.151.41.22"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["443050"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["443050"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2025-10-05 18:08:29"],"_bbp_reply_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_engagement":["602335","13640","480261"],"_btv_view_count":["113"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_subscription":["13640","480261"],"_bbp_notification_enabled":["480261"]},"test":"gl6fpumsystem-edu"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/442726","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/442726\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=442726"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
