With the appropriate local sizings I am able to achieve a good quality surface mesh, by &#8220;good&#8221; I mean from both visual inspection and quantitatively (skewness &lt; 0.6 everwhere).&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;However when I generate the volume mesh I get a very low volumetric mesh quality (orthogonal quality &lt; 1e-2 for a lot of cells) almost everywhere on the wing. I get a very bad quality when I add the boundary layer refinement that I want (first layer thickess = 1 micrometer) and I noticed that the smaller the first layer thickness, the lower is the quality. Inserting an &#8220;Improve volume mesh&#8221; task does not lead to improvements. Furthermore I don&#8217;t get any Geometry Errors\/warnings.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Does someone have any experience with that?
