Please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the ANSYS Mechanical User Guide for more information.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Basically all I have done while attempting to evaluate this heat sink is first selecting the underside of the base of the heat sink, and adding a heat flow to it with a ramped magnitude of 13 W. Then I added a convection on the floor of the base (not the fins of the heat sink) with a film coefficient of 6e-6 (also ramped). Then I selected all sides of the fins and added another convection in the fins of 1.2e-5 (also ramped. The ambient temperature remained at 22 C. I do not understand what is going wrong here. I am not using the student version for this either as I am remote accessing the schools academic version of R19.0.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I have attached the log file&nbsp;for anybody that can help me with this problem.
