


{"id":43048,"date":"2020-04-21T10:27:13","date_gmt":"2020-04-21T10:27:13","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/how-to-increase-allocated-memory-for-in-core-solution\/"},"modified":"2020-04-21T10:27:13","modified_gmt":"2020-04-21T10:27:13","slug":"how-to-increase-allocated-memory-for-in-core-solution","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/how-to-increase-allocated-memory-for-in-core-solution\/","title":{"rendered":"how to increase allocated memory for in-core solution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m doing a two way coupled analysis with hyper elastic material and it seems Transient-Structural is running in the out-of-core memory mode.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>the solution information gives me the info below:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Memory allocated for solver&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; =&nbsp; 1166.719 MB<br \/>Memory required for in-core solution&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; =&nbsp; 4440.028 MB<br \/>Memory required for out-of-core solution =&nbsp; 1073.300 MB<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>even though i&#8217;m using a lap top with 8gb of RAM which almost 4gb of it is being used by windows, but here i&#8217;m having only 1gb of allocated RAM for the solver.
