In my VM I have 2 physical CPU and each CPU has 8 cores and each core has 1 thread in of the posts on the student community I found that the speed of the simulation is only related to actual cores, not the logical processor and in the other post I found a command to see how many cores and logical processors I have on the system:&nbsp;wmic CPU Get NumberOfCores,NumberOfLogicalProcessors \/Format:List&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve attached the output of the command. It seems I have 8 Cores on the system but when I change the number of the cores in the HPC settings to 8 still CPU utilization is still around 13% (roughly speaking equal to 2 cores). Is it because of the virtual machine or there is a way to increase the simulation speed?
