\nRecently my lab is using CADNexus to import some parameters created by CATIA V5, 2015 version to ANSYS Workbench v17.2 to do a lot DOE studies for several models. The design points are also imported from excel .csv file to ANSYS DOE. For most of models we created in CATIA, all design points updated successfully. However, there will be 5-15% design points update failed in some models. And for some other models, about 50% design points will be failed to update. For different models, the number of imported parameters varies from 10 – 30.

\nThe failure updating messages have two errors<\/p>\n

  1. CAPRI_MODELERR; regeneration failure; refresh failed; plugin error.<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

  2. (DP 9) The Setup component in Static Structural for Design Point 9 requires user input before it can be updated. For instructions on how to address the cell in its current state, click the blue triangle in the lower right corner of the cell.<\/li>\n

    \nI tried to manually import some models with failure design points’ values, and they all solved successfully in ANSYS v17.2. 
    \nMeanwhile, those failure design points will keep reporting same errors no matter how many times I update them. There will always be the same design points update failed even though I redo every steps in a new ANSYS file.

    \nI’m wondering do you have any idea of which part went wrong when i imported parameters from catia to ansys via CADNexus? All settings, like BCs, mesh, are exactly same in each model and they all solved successfully in my previous analysis.
