{"id":41029,"date":"2020-02-18T11:03:13","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T11:03:13","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/temeprature-probe\/"},"modified":"2020-02-18T11:03:13","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T11:03:13","slug":"temeprature-probe","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/temeprature-probe\/","title":{"rendered":"Temeprature Probe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I would like to run both steady and transient state analysis where I would like to measure the temperature right at the center of the&nbsp; solid geometry.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>My first way to do that was the select the solid geometry and then insert a temperature probe.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Second was to define a coordinate system by selecting the geometry. It goes right at the centre of solid. Then I inserted a temperature probe by selecting that coordinate system.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Can someone kindly correct me if my second method was the right way.
