I’m trying to co-simulate the performance of a single reflectarray element, particularly the generation of IMD products due to the phase-control element (a varactor diode in this case). I have watched the Ansys material on co-simulation between HFSS and Circuit for performing impedance matching. The main portion of the co-simulation in that case involves Pushing Excitations from Ansys Circuit into HFSS to update the calculated fields based on the improved impedance match.<br><br>However, I’ve yet to find any resources on providing an excitation in Ansys Circuit based on the calculated fields in HFSS. What I would like to do is, calculate the voltage across a lumped port and push that value into Ansys Circuit as an excitation to calculate the circuit’s response.<br><br>My current approach is to manually calculate the port’s voltage in HFSS using the Fields Calculator and input that value into a Circuit Microwave Port element. I believe this process can be automated using scripting, but I wanted to post here to see if there was a more direct way to do this.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-408225","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27793"],"_bbp_topic_id":["408225"],"_bbp_subscription":["335803","469978"],"_bbp_author_ip":["152.14.55.81"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["408894"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["408894"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2025-02-08 03:43:12"],"_bbp_reply_count":["1"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_engagement":["335803","469978"],"_btv_view_count":["464"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"]},"test":"8f3989de841f5aedb5787a0c4891d96ffd7338cf"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/408225","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/408225\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=408225"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
