I followed the license setup instructions found in the download package, but ran into a few issues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I was able to add the license file to the&nbsp;License Management Center successfully (image 1):&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/89dfbc10-ce59-4cd6-a061-ab56011ac54b\/13a059e6-6fe6-4c35-a412-ab560129c5a3_image-1.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>But, when setting up the licence server in FlexNet, I kept receiving the following error (image 2):&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The TCP port number in the license, 1055, is already in use.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/89dfbc10-ce59-4cd6-a061-ab56011ac54b\/8d273ad8-1e7b-4638-a6da-ab560129e3ef_image-2.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I tried changing the port number in the license file to 1056, but I received the following error (image 3):&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;File not found, ansyslmd.exe&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/89dfbc10-ce59-4cd6-a061-ab56011ac54b\/ee27f5f1-28a3-4073-8815-ab56012b3e28_inkedimage-3-li.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I&nbsp;turned off the firewalls, checked environment variables, checked hostname, reviewed the license file, freed up port number 1055 and tried again, but nothing works.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>What is the problem?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>[p.s a similar issue was reported here:&nbsp;<a href=\"\/forums\/topic\/flexnet-not-starting-due-to-port-already-in-use\/\">\/forum\/forums\/topic\/flexnet-not-starting-due-to-port-already-in-use\/<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Any help is appreciated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-40627","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_old_topic_id":["12807"],"_bbp_old_topic_author_name_id":["Anonymous"],"_bbp_old_is_topic_anonymous_id":["false"],"_bbp_old_closed_status_id":["publish"],"_bbp_author_ip":[null],"_bbp_old_sticky_status_id":["normal"],"_bbp_likes_count":["0"],"_btv_view_count":["1912"],"_bbp_subscription":["247136"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["40627"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27796"],"_bbp_engagement":["61719","172858"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["2"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["128707"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["128707"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2020-10-02 09:17:00"]},"test":"capstonea"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/40627","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/40627\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=40627"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
