The domain is two dimensional (2D). The domain has gravity acting in the -ve Y direction. I used the Eulerian model for the two phases. I have velocity inlet and pressure outlet BC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/8eaa894c-6970-4cf1-8542-a8f6011eede7\/7accdda7-cfdd-473c-a2bd-ab5001616873_fff-6.1-6-01032.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I follow the following steps:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>1. Pseudo-transient analysis with only water-vapor entering the domain. It converges and the results are perfect. The residual plots are as shown below<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/8eaa894c-6970-4cf1-8542-a8f6011eede7\/3daa4ef8-c323-44e7-90a2-ab500162a658_fff-6.1-6-01032.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>2. Pseudo-transient analysis with water-liquid volume fraction of 0.1 at the domain inlet. I cannot get convergence. The solver diverges stating that &#8220;turbulent viscosity ratio&#8221; is higher than 1e5.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I looked into the turbulent viscosity ratio warning. My maximum skewness is 0.02, so the mesh is okay. I tried the recommendation to turn off turbulence for 100 to 200 iterations and turning them back on&#8230;but the solution diverges.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I even tried a laminar case, and the solution diverges!
