{"id":403812,"date":"2025-01-06T23:50:40","date_gmt":"2025-01-06T23:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/species-gradient-calculation-udf-error-cant-find-the-function\/"},"modified":"2025-01-06T23:50:40","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T23:50:40","slug":"species-gradient-calculation-udf-error-cant-find-the-function","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/species-gradient-calculation-udf-error-cant-find-the-function\/","title":{"rendered":"species gradient calculation UDF error &#8212; can&#8217;t find the function"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&lt;p&gt;case: 2D, kw-sst, coal-combustion, species transport, DPM.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;to get gradient of species mass fraction.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I use UDF code 3.2.12.6 in UDF manual.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;changes: C_VOF(c, t)&nbsp; &gt;&gt;&gt; C_YI(c, t, 0) &nbsp;F_VOF(c, t)&nbsp; &gt;&gt;&gt; F_YI(c, t, 0) ).&nbsp; 0: volatile&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;however, it didnot produce any result of species gradient.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have hooked it up.
