I am trying to analyze the effect of a blood vessel on a stent.

I assigned the material properties of the vessel to the vessel. For the stent, as seen in the table, I assigned five different materials sequentially.

I chose the bond type between the vessel and the stent as bonded.

The mesh settings are as shown in the visual.

I constrained both ends of the vessel and applied a pressure of 1200 mmHg to its inner surface.

When I ran the simulation, the material with the lowest safety factor among the five materials turned out to be Nitinol. It seems very incorrect to me that Nitinol would have such a low value. I used the materials from ANSYS’s own library and did not make any modifications. What do you think the issue might be here?

["post-398219","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-2dmaterialsandmetals-1","topic-tag-ansysworkbench-ansys-staticstructural","topic-tag-mechanicalworkbench-1","topic-tag-add-material","topic-tag-nitinol","topic-tag-safety-factor","topic-tag-shape-memory-alloy","topic-tag-workbench
[{"0":
27791
398219
135066","440006
2a02:e0:9c14:7800:b5a4:4b52:b436:ea7a
398260
398260
2024-12-23 08:49:56
1
0
2
135066","440006
172
unanswered
["GET
