I am getting the following error message: “The meshing algorithm cannot find matching topology. Please verify the topology and the position as well as the orientation of any associated coordinate systems.”<\/p>
The mesh builds successfully, but when solving, it says the mesh file is corrupted. Based on previous threads, I have checked the area and number of nodes for the high and low sides of the geometry. Both are exactly equal. See attached images. This geometry should repeat in the y direction to infinity. I also have a swept mesh in the z direction. Could that be an issue? Is there another reason for this error? Help appreciated!<\/p>
Kevin<\/p>
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/16-12-2024-1734373382-mesh.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"395\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/16-12-2024-1734373415-nodes high.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"730\" height=\"442\" \/><\/p>
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/16-12-2024-1734373435-nodes low.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"717\" height=\"429\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/16-12-2024-1734373450-high.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"368\" \/><\/p>
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/16-12-2024-1734373473-low.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"671\" height=\"356\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-397662","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-mechanical","topic-tag-mesh","topic-tag-periodic-bc-1"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27790"],"_bbp_topic_id":["397662"],"_bbp_subscription":["439365","200","240"],"_bbp_author_ip":["130.126.255.93"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["403091"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["403091"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-12-31 17:01:46"],"_bbp_reply_count":["5"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_engagement":["439365","200","240"],"_btv_view_count":["881"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_edit_lock":["1734373592:439365"]},"test":"kevinu2illinois-edu"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/397662","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/397662\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=397662"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
