The global model is made of a shell with no hole and has edges in place where the interface will be provided.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/15-12-2024-1734273109-shells.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"371\" height=\"213\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Named selections are created for interface edges with their own LS-Dyna Named Selection User IDs. The appropriate interface node components are created for these edges and written to the interface linking .ifsl file.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/15-12-2024-1734273404-shellscard.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"437\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The local model is made of a solid with a small hole and has Named selections for interface faces with the same LS-Dyna Named Selection User IDs. Is it necessary to make 2 different isfl files for each cut boundary?
