However, I generally have to guess how many modes that is. What I&#8217;ve found myself doing is running a modal analysis seeking hundreds of modes, sometimes up to 500, then I will go through the Ratio of Effective Mass to Total Mass table and figure out how many modes I need to hit ~0.9 in each direction. Then I can re-run the modal analysis with that found number.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I was wondering if there was an easier way to do this? Like, can I tell Ansys Mechanical to just keep solving for modes until it reaches the mass ratio, or perhaps run something to predict the number of modes needed?&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
