I&rsquo;m currently facing&nbsp;&lt;u&gt;an unexpected error while using&nbsp;&lt;\/u&gt;<strong>&lt;u&gt;Discovery&lt;\/u&gt;<\/strong>&nbsp;the geometry no longer updates automatically to mechanical, as it did in previous versions (2022),Everytime it say &#8220;save and exit, even if I saved,&nbsp;&lt;u&gt;the geometry has never been updated in standalone analysis system-static structural.&lt;\/u&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;the geometry needs to be saved as (*.disco) file and imported again to update in mechanical, this process needs to be repeated even for small change in geometry.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#8221; For example, in spaceclaim, if we create a geometry or modify it, we don&#8217;t need to save the model as spaceclaim file, if we simply close the tab, it will automatically update to mechanical or when we refresh it. the same has applicable to discovery 2022R2, it works as expected. &#8221; But only facing issues with discovery 2023R2.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pls resolve this issue ASAP&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/06-12-2024-1733468127-dicovery_error.png\" alt=\"\" \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/06-12-2024-1733468148-mceclip0.png\" width=\"345\" height=\"222\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-396549","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-discovery","topic-tag-discovery"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"I\u2019ve encountered in Ansys 2023R2 version.
