It’s a M4 bolt & nut and the Bolt pretension is 3167N.<\/p>
For the thread contact areas\uff0c I am using a Bolt Thread of Contact geometry correction @ frictional contact, everything goes well except the Equivalent stress at the Bolt thread contact area, the Finer the mesh, the bigger the Equivalent stress at the Bolt thread contact area. When I refine the mesh to 0.2mm sizing, the Maximum Equivalent stress is 1109 MPa, it is quite unreasonable, can any one tell me why? Thanks in advance.<\/p>
<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/05-12-2024-1733376611-mceclip1.png\" \/><\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/05-12-2024-1733376474-mceclip0.png\" \/><\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/05-12-2024-1733376975-mceclip2.png\" \/><\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/12\/05-12-2024-1733376981-mceclip3.png\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-396371","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27791"],"_bbp_topic_id":["396371"],"_bbp_subscription":["6934","489486","440006"],"_bbp_author_ip":["140.210.153.2"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["396380"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["396380"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-12-05 07:41:46"],"_bbp_reply_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_engagement":["6934","489486","440006"],"_btv_view_count":["94"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"]},"test":"oliver-liaei-com"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/396371","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/396371\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=396371"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
