<p><\/p><p><p>ANSYS 2024 R2, Windows 11.<\/p><p>I am using two university license servers. I have set the two license servers and ports in the License setting applications, both servers test with a green tick and have been saved.<\/p><p><\/p><p>I open Workbench and it has full functionality and seems to be licensed and working.<\/p><p>However, when I then open an existing Mechanical model through Workbench, it opens in Read-Only configuration and I get the below message:<\/p><p><\/p><p>If I close all applications and open just the mechanical application and start a new (blank) project, then it also opens in Read-Only and I get the same error.<\/p><p>University IT support informs me that the license should grant me access to all features of Ansys, so should not be a limitation of the license and there doesn’t seem to be any errors with the license and its configuration.<\/p><p>I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling all applications and restarting a number of times, with no luck.<\/p><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-395844","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-mechanicalworkbench-1","topic-tag-academiclicense-1","topic-tag-license-error","topic-tag-mechanical","topic-tag-read-only"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t
