I have imported its B field inside fluent. You can see it on this figure:<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/29-11-2024-1732867031-mceclip0.png\" \/> (the white rectangle is where the magnete is supposed to be placed) <\/p>
<\/p>
Then I have activated the DPM and the MHD module.<\/p>
The simulation converges.<\/p>
However, the particles seems not to be affected by the magentic field. I tried changing their diameters, from 1e-6 to 1e-4 but nothing changes.<\/p>
Even though I amplify it in the MHD module by a factor of 10, it seems to have zero effects on the particles trajectories. <\/p>
What do you think? I am doing something wrong on the simulation or the magnet is too weak? The weired thing is that even with a 10 factor amplification, i obtain the same results. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-395713","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-fluent-ansys-1","topic-tag-fluent-cfd-ansys-1","topic-tag-multiphase_models-1","topic-tag-ansys-fluent","topic-tag-dpm","topic-tag-mhd-1","topic-tag-mhd-model-2"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_forum_id":["27792"],"_bbp_topic_id":["395713"],"_bbp_subscription":["442606","199","5570"],"_bbp_author_ip":["103.43.233.162"],"_bbp_reply_count":["11"],"_bbp_reply_count_hidden":["0"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_engagement":["442606","199","5570"],"_btv_view_count":["428"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["395790"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["395790"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-11-29 15:32:44"]},"test":"ntrippellaicmaspa-it"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/395713","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/395713\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=395713"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
