The push rod is inside of an aluminum body that a min 0,1 mm distance from the face of this body. I create the model using surface to interpret of body. So i got in model with 10 surfaces and 1 solid body component of push rode:&lt;br&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382234-mceclip2.png\" width=\"153\" height=\"700\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I use structural steel NL (from ANSYS ENgineering Data) for push rode, and structural steel for surfaces (they are only for boundary and what contact pressure is). I make 0,4 mm thickness&nbsp;for each surface and&nbsp;<strong><em>bottom <\/em><\/strong>offset type.&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;Contacts were generated automatically i changed the setting for <em><strong>frictionless <\/strong><\/em>type and target shell face as&nbsp;<em><strong>bottom,<\/strong><\/em><strong> <\/strong>the details of contact and showing contact and target:&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382603-mceclip4.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382640-mceclip5.png\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382656-mceclip7.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;I generate general a mesh on the body using 1mm element size with&nbsp;<strong><em>capture curvature<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>capture proximity.&nbsp; <\/em><\/strong>For surfaces, I make 2 different face sizing, first with 1 mm element size and second with 5mm element size.&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;The mesh looks like:&lt;br&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382427-mceclip3.png\" width=\"576\" height=\"288\" \/>&lt;br&gt;Boundary condition are specified:&lt;br&gt;A &#8211; Force of component Fz = -100N&lt;br&gt;B &#8211; Fixed support at all faces&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;C &#8211; fixed support on hole&nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382837-mceclip9.png\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382889-mceclip10.png\" width=\"222\" height=\"218\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732382923-mceclip11.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;in the analysis setting i switch on&nbsp;<strong><em>Large deflection <\/em><\/strong>in this case is there auto time stepping: <em><strong>program controlled<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp; i tried another option givingg around 150\/200 initial steps but this does not help.&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In solution i got no convconvergent force&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732383083-mceclip13.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I got this kind of warnings and error:&lt;br&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/23-11-2024-1732383134-mceclip14.png\" \/>&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Could someone help how to deal with this kind of situation?
