I then applied a remote force on the yellow sleeve.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>When I try to solve, I get something like this:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/55a6e19b-e84d-4051-b632-aa9a01208530\/0c7e495a-c1ef-48b6-957b-ab1e00e54180_4.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is what I get after already trying to solve the bisection issue by increasing the initial substeps with a factor of 5 from 100 to 500, and after increasing the mesh refinement where the Newton-Raphson residual told me to.
