I have also checked the recommended Intel MPI version for the Ansys version and the correct one (2021.8.0) is installed.

The whole C: drive is shared both on Computer 1 and Computer 2. Credentials were registered from both sides.

The problem is that I can’t run fluent using both computers’ resources. I can run Fluent from Computer 1 using Computer 2’s resources and back, but when I specify to run 4 cores on Computer 1 and 4 cores on computer 2 then I get an error message (see attached photo). It does not matter how many cores I specifiy, there is a problem when I would like to use both computer’s resources. Individually they work well.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion that can solve this!<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/12-11-2024-1731407714-Error messgae.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/12-11-2024-1731407754-parallel settings.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-393747","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-cluster","topic-tag-DistributedMemoryParallel-1","topic-tag-fluent"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["480231","157473"],"_bbp_author_ip":["37.220.131.169"],"_btv_view_count":["325"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_edit_lock":["1731408301:2312"],"_bbp_notification_enabled":["480231"],"_bbp_topic_id":["393747"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27796"],"_bbp_engagement":["157473","480231"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["6"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["395481"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["395481"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-11-27 08:08:03"]},"test":"3aa7f5cd4074128cc61380c10f0e20b092c75722"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/393747","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/393747\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=393747"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
