For the analysis, I just modelled the thurst roller along with the tyre connected to the rotary kiln . Sadly, I can&#8217;t get the simulation to work because i&#8217;m really having a bad time configuring the boundary conditions. Here is a picture of the geometry:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/05-11-2024-1730821229-mceclip1.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The rotary kiln rotates at 1.85 RPM and the thrust roller is subjected to a force of 40 KN in the axial direction of the rotary kiln (Z). I planned to use a body-ground joint (with free displacement and rotation in the Z direction) on the tyre with a rotational joint load of 1,85 RPM and a force joint load equal to 40 KN, and other body-ground joint on the thurst roller with free rotation in the Y direction according to the next picture.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/05-11-2024-1730821382-mceclip2.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I selected those surfaces because those are the zones where the bearings of the thrust roller shaft are installed.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I also added a frictional connection between the roller and the tyre. My idea was to apply the 1,85 RPM rotation and the 40 KN force on the tyre. The force would be transferred to the thrust roller and, due to the fricctional contact, it would also rotate. I programmed it this way because i wanted to obtain the stresses present in the thrust roller as it rotates, sadly I always obtains errors and the simulation never works&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/11\/05-11-2024-1730821804-mceclip3.png\" \/>&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I tried with other B.C but the stresses calculated never make sense. For example, I added a remote displacement in the thrust roller and the maximum stress obtained was arround 200 MPa with a force of 1 KN. &iquest;Could anyone help me with the constrains?
