However, damping cannot be used in cyclic symmetry. I would like to use the matrix &lt;span class=&#8221;katex&#8221;&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;katex-mathml&#8221;&gt;T&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&nbsp;from the formulas to obtain it, but my attempts to backtrack the &lt;span class=&#8221;katex&#8221;&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;katex-html&#8221; aria-hidden=&#8221;true&#8221;&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;base&#8221;&gt;&lt;span class=&#8221;mord mathnormal&#8221;&gt;T&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt; matrix from the mode shapes have not yielded correct results.
