A) Which tool should I use for this?

As I think about the analysis, there are two options:
1 either I simulate the temperature after beeing exposed to the ambient temperature after a given time (e.g. 4h) and look at the hottest and coldest parts or<\/p>
2 I simulate how long it takes until the temperature of the last part equals the ambient temperature (prefered)

<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/10\/02-10-2024-1727873975-explanation.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>
B) How can I automate the process of the simulation, that the tool simulates for a specific ambient temperature range and provides one list of results? (for option 1 a heatmap of the part would be nice)<\/p>
C) How can I model that the heat transfer can take place over the whole surface plus the two contacts?<\/p>
<\/p>

Thanks!<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-387826","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry","topic-tag-ansys-thermal-1","topic-tag-simulation"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["750","5976","2309"],"_bbp_author_ip":["2.213.10.167"],"_btv_view_count":["445"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_topic_id":["387826"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27815"],"_bbp_engagement":["750","5976"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["3"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["391267"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["391267"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-10-24 14:08:26"]},"test":"waetzoldcampus-tu-berlin-de"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/387826","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/387826\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=387826"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
