I’m launching a Mechanical session in which I import the geometry then a set the mesh and the boundary conditions. Then I save the input file (file .dat). After saving and closing the Mechanical session, with pyACP I import the input.dat file and I define the composite material. After defining the composite material, is there a way to upload the model and run the simulation in Ansys Mechanical or the only way is to solve the ACP model in a MAPDL session? In pyAnsys guide I found how to import and solve the ACP model in MAPDL but I would prefer to run the analysis in Mechanical, if it is possible. Thanks.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-387522","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry","topic-tag-pyansys-1","topic-tag-PyMAPDL-1","topic-tag-python-scripting"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["347996","58821"],"_bbp_author_ip":["37.161.230.184"],"_btv_view_count":["266"],"_bbp_topic_status":["answered"],"_bbp_status":["answered"],"_bbp_topic_id":["387522"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27791"],"_bbp_engagement":["58821","347996"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["2"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["387632"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["387632"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-10-01 10:38:36"]},"test":"s310413studenti-polito-it"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/387522","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/387522\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":387631,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/387522\/revisions\/387631"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=387522"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
