I have a student license from my university. I have Thermal Desktop, AutoCAD 2024, and SindaFluint all installed. Here&#8217;s exactly what I do:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Licensing Portal:&lt;span style=&#8221;mso-bidi-font-family: Aptos; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;&#8221;&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;mso-list: Ignore;&#8221;&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font: 7.0pt &#8216;Times New Roman&#8217;;&#8221;&gt;&nbsp; &lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;!&#8211;[endif]&#8211;&gt;Activations &gt; Active Entitlements &gt; &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Select Active Server &gt; &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Generate;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Ansys License Management Center:&nbsp;&lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Get System Hostid Information &gt; first MAC Address (E) &gt; Save To Fill;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Licensing Portal: &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Activations &gt; Manage Activations &gt; Rehost &gt; &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;&ldquo;Upload license&rdquo; select saved file from &gt; &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Download existing license file&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;Ansys License Management Center: &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Add a license file &gt; Browse &gt; select license file &gt;&lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;View Status\/Start\/Stop License Manager &gt; Start&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;Ansys Licensing Settings: &lt;!&#8211; [if !supportLists]&#8211;&gt;Port: 1055 &gt; Server 1: the hostname of the activated license&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;&nbsp;&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p class=&#8221;MsoNormal&#8221;&gt;When I attempt to launch thermal desktop, I am met with the following error: &#8220;Unable to get a license.
