I&#8217;m using the solar ray tracing model as a solar load, and thus solar ray is&nbsp;converted to heat, and absorbed by the working fluid. I&#8217;m using the incident solar radiation value, 10,000 W\/m^2 (, which is equivalent to 10 suns) as an input to the collector&#8217;s top surface (Jusy a Face, not body), which is expected to be uniform on the face. I considered the non-gray surface and solar wavelength was in a range between 0.5um to 1.5 um.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/fa3b00c5-3bf6-47f4-b355-aae3007f531c\/84a222c4-dbeb-4cf9-baca-aae500b6098f_capture.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve checked with angular discretization, mesh study. Then, I&#8217;ve done the set up of the DO model following the above criteria, like as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/fa3b00c5-3bf6-47f4-b355-aae3007f531c\/b5c837a3-9e45-442a-bb6d-aae500b76613_qq.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>After that, I followed the necessary fluid properties, and set up for the solar inlet face&nbsp;as follows:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/fa3b00c5-3bf6-47f4-b355-aae3007f531c\/acf122fb-b62a-43c0-942a-aae500b83668_cc.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I found a good convergence, but I&#8217;m not sure about the outcome (Wall&nbsp;flux&#8212;&gt;surface incident radiation, \/m^2), as it shows not exactly the same value that I input as incoming solar radiation. Moreover, wall flux&#8212;&gt;sun heat flux&nbsp;is zero on the top face.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/fa3b00c5-3bf6-47f4-b355-aae3007f531c\/e0817b4d-d4b5-472e-be59-aae500ba6ef7_q.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>and&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/us.v-cdn.net\/6032193\/uploads\/attachments\/fa3b00c5-3bf6-47f4-b355-aae3007f531c\/be814218-c15a-40b4-97af-aae500bddc8f_qqqq.jpg?width=690&amp;upscale=false\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I suspect the reason for such a curve rather than a uniform manner is the absorption coefficient value of the working fluid.
