The issue arises with the stator material: when I assign M19-24G, it produces torque close to the expected value. However, when I switch to a material like Cogent Power M330, which has a higher saturation flux density and permeability than M19, the torque drops by about 15%. Interestingly, when I select a superior material (containing cobalt) with significantly higher saturation flux density and permeability, the torque returns to the expected value.<\/p>
I’ve experimented with various mesh sizes, boundaries, and regions, but the results consistently show the same pattern. Even when I keep everything identical in the design and only change the B-H curve (which I have verified and tested with multiple grades), the issue persists. I’m honestly quite confused at this point, and I would really appreciate any suggestions you may have.<\/p>
Thank you!<\/p>
<\/p>
<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/09-09-2024-1725872179-M19.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>
<\/p>
<\/p>
<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/09-09-2024-1725872198-Cogent.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-381912","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_subscription":["272570","58821"],"_bbp_author_ip":["193.28.36.121"],"_btv_view_count":["184"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_edit_last":["272570"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_revision_log":["a:1:{i:382060;a:2:{s:6:\"author\";i:272570;s:6:\"reason\";s:0:\"\";}}"],"_bbp_topic_id":["381912"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27793"],"_bbp_engagement":["58821","272570"],"_bbp_voice_count":["2"],"_bbp_reply_count":["1"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["381967"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["381967"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2024-09-09 11:46:17"]},"test":"f46b547cd1d39ad44b7cca20b9fd7c0dcbf4f435"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/381912","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/381912\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":382060,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/381912\/revisions\/382060"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=381912"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
