The solver s taking way too long to solve. Did not have this problem a few days ago. I am not sure what has changed. I tried running the applications on both Shared-Memory Parallel and Distributed computing and its the same issue. I am using ANSYS 2019 R2 with a Research licence connected to the Computer at the university. I connect to this system using my home computer through remote desktop. To verify the problem, I just ran a simple example 3D program from the APDL guide where the Analysis type was Transient with a time size of 1s and a time step of 0.1s. the simulation runs way too slow. Could someone please guide me here?
