I performed two different analyses of this in the Ansys program. The first was by using the weld tool in SpaceClaim, and the second by manually cr&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt;eating contacts in Mechanical. There were negligible differences in the result&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;span style=&#8221;font-size: 14pt;&#8221;&gt;s.
