


{"id":378103,"date":"2024-08-13T10:49:23","date_gmt":"2024-08-13T10:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/thermal-cooling-2\/"},"modified":"2024-08-13T10:49:23","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T10:49:23","slug":"thermal-cooling-2","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/thermal-cooling-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Thermal Cooling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m 99% certain this isn&#8217;t possible in Discovery but just wanted to check.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If I have done a steady state Thermal analysis or CHT study on an enclosure such as below which would show the temperature of the unit when it is switched on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It isn&#8217;t possible to then do a transient simulation showing how this unit would cool when switched off.
