I am using the HFSS wizard to initially create a model. When trying to analyse the design I get an error message: <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/13-08-2024-1723520645-mceclip0.png\" width=\"964\" height=\"91\"><\/p>\n<p>Looking online for solutions people have commented on the restrictions of the student version and suggested in making the mesh more course to reduce the number of elements being simulated. I followed their suggestion by following the menu path HFSS&gt;Mesh&gt;Initial mesh settings and sliding the slider all the way to course. While this did reduce the number of elements, it still exceeds the student version limits.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/13-08-2024-1723520844-mceclip1.png\" width=\"1091\" height=\"40\"><\/p>\n<p>Does anyone know of any further way to insure you stay within the student version limits?<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-378048","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hello, I am using the student version of ansys to try simulate some antenna designs.
