


{"id":37463,"date":"2019-09-03T15:54:01","date_gmt":"2019-09-03T15:54:01","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/parametric-optimization-using-designxplorer\/"},"modified":"2019-09-03T15:54:01","modified_gmt":"2019-09-03T15:54:01","slug":"parametric-optimization-using-designxplorer","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/parametric-optimization-using-designxplorer\/","title":{"rendered":"Parametric Optimization using DesignXplorer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I am trying to make a parametric optimization of a hollow plate, using as objective the mass reduction and constrain the FOS, with DesignXplorer<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I have used the following parameters in Spaceclaim:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li>L: length<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>H: height<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>t:thickness<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>r: hole radius<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>l1: distance between the hole&#8217;s center and one vertical side<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>hi: distance between the hole&#8217;s center and one horizontal side<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>d1: the force placement<\/li>\n<p>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I tried to use some dependencies between the parameters. The L,H, t and d1 are updated after using the candidates DP but the radius and the position of the hole remains stable. I have tried some alternatives with no chance. Can someone help please?
