The Problem is:<br \/>&#8220;In my 2D execution the energy of the magentic field is calculated similar to my 3D execution with a component length of 1000mm.&#8221;<br \/>I found out, that 1 meter is the default depth of 2D models, but when I change the model depth to, let&#8217;s say 100mm, Maxwell calculates the same energy of the model in the field calculator.<br \/>Here are two pictures showing the 2D Calculation with a model depth of 100mm<br \/>and 3D Calculation with an overall length of 1 meter.<\/p>\n<p>Is Maxwell not able to convert these calculations depending on the selected model depth?
