{"id":372600,"date":"2024-07-18T14:26:51","date_gmt":"2024-07-18T14:26:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/mechanical-apdl-and-materials-command-windows-problem-not-functional\/"},"modified":"2024-07-18T14:26:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T14:26:51","slug":"mechanical-apdl-and-materials-command-windows-problem-not-functional","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/mechanical-apdl-and-materials-command-windows-problem-not-functional\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical, APDL and Materials Command Windows problem not functional"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-ogsc=\"black\">Hi Community!&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\">I&#8217;m using Ansys Workbench Student 2024 R1 on my Laptop with Windows 10 Home, Intell i7 7gen processos and Nvidia GTX1650 Mobile with standard configurations.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\"><strong>The context&nbsp;<\/strong>:I need to code some small APDL code in Ansys Workbench Mechanical module by adding an APDL script to my analysis to fix the position of a section of a part after a deformation.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\"><strong>The problem&nbsp;<\/strong>: When I apply a new APDL Script in mechanical, the command window to write my script does not show up and I can not write, copy or do anything in the command window.&nbsp; I only see a blank page and sometimes, just the 3D model in the back (See Figure 1).&nbsp; Materials properties in the mechanical tree does not show up either. (see figure 2 and figure 3). My Windows machine is regularly and automatically updated.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\">Note that I didn&#8217;t have this issue when I first installed Ansys 2024 R1 on my laptop a few months ago. The problem appeared a few days ago.
