Everything I seem to find online basically states that Ansys wasn&#8217;t installed correctly and to reinstall it and there is no real fix.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I import my model (I have tried .stl and .iges files) into space claim and then click over to generate the mesh. When the Mesh program opens I receive the error &#8220;PlugIn Error: Failed to import assembly from spaceclaim. No bodies to transfer.&#8221; I tried reducing the number of triangles in the model and when I do that I receive the error &#8220;The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Is there a fix to these issues or could someone explain to me why they are happening so that I can try to fix my models.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Not sure if it matters but the model was made in a CAD software called 3-Matics by Materialise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-37240","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"acf":[],"custom_fields":[{"0":{"_bbp_old_topic_id":["9416"],"_bbp_old_topic_author_name_id":["Anonymous"],"_bbp_old_is_topic_anonymous_id":["false"],"_bbp_old_closed_status_id":["publish"],"_bbp_author_ip":[null],"_bbp_old_sticky_status_id":["normal"],"_bbp_likes_count":["0","0"],"_btv_view_count":["3410"],"_bbp_subscription":["242243"],"_bbp_topic_status":["unanswered"],"_bbp_status":["publish"],"_bbp_topic_id":["37240"],"_bbp_forum_id":["27790"],"_bbp_engagement":["240","167779","182786"],"_bbp_voice_count":["3"],"_bbp_reply_count":["12"],"_bbp_last_reply_id":["132049"],"_bbp_last_active_id":["132049"],"_bbp_last_active_time":["2020-11-04 08:27:48"]},"test":"b0baganush"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/37240","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topics\/37240\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=37240"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
