I have solved the RAO in a JONSWAP spectrum for different floats in the frequency domain, but there are significant discrepancies with my experiments, especially for one of the floats (blue line) which has a slope on its body, also after resonance frequency for the orange one. How can I improve the accuracy?<\/p>\n<p>How can I increase the frequency resolution for the numerical RAOs, especially around resonance? I set the total number of frequencies to 100, but I don&#8217;t see any changes<\/p>\n<p>RAO in experiments is done with <span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif\">displacement of the float relative to wave amplitude, with consistent wave heights maintained throughout all experiments, and wave height was equal to significant wave height in numerical analysis in irregular waves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/07\/03-07-2024-1719986655-mceclip1.png\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-370244","topic","type-topic","status-closed","hentry"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 4.9.10 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Hi, I would appreciate an answer to this question.
