{"id":369952,"date":"2024-06-05T16:26:55","date_gmt":"2024-06-05T16:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/polyflow-user-defined-fields\/"},"modified":"2024-06-05T16:26:55","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T16:26:55","slug":"polyflow-user-defined-fields","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/polyflow-user-defined-fields\/","title":{"rendered":"Polyflow &#8211; user defined fields"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi, I am a relatively experienced user of Fluent but I am currently working on a problem using Polyflow.<\/p>\n<p>I am interested in calculating a custom field at a wall boundary that will update its value each iteration.<\/p>\n<p>Later on, I am also interested in generating a material model that is dependent on a custom field function that is influenced by advection.<\/p>\n<p>In Fluent I have implemented these models successfully using udf and uds, along with user defined memory. In this case, Polyflow has other advantages that make it much better suited to the current task.&nbsp;Do you have any suggestions in how I can store and access calculated data within Polyflow in a manner similar to the Fluent functionality?
