I selected “Line and face connectivity” so I could re-import this data as a surface later on. I then added a column to my csv file calculating the HTC at each point. The csv that I want to import back into CFD-post has 4 data columns for the spatial data: X, Y, Z, HTC. Under the dataset, there is a line that says [faces] followed by rows with 8 columns of data. I’m assuming this part is for the face connectivity so I could re-import as a surface instead of as lines or a point cloud.

Once I try to re-import back into CFD post so I could do further post-processing with my new HTC data, I get an error that says “ERROR: Invalid number of data elements supplied on line 9: expecting 8, received 4”

Of course it only received 4 because I only have 4 columns of data to create the distribution, but is it expecting 8 because of the face connectivity portion of the datasheet? How would I fix this?

Also, the weird thing is if I export the csv file from cfd-post, and then reimport it without making any changes at all then it works just fine (but without the data I need). I receive the above error the second I make any changes at all to the csv. Even if it’s just taking the existing data and editing 1 cell, such as adding/subtracting 1 to/from it.
