{"id":369147,"date":"2024-05-29T21:56:57","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T21:56:57","guid":{"rendered":"\/forum\/forums\/topic\/configuring-ocx-files-error-rhel-8-9\/"},"modified":"2024-05-29T21:56:57","modified_gmt":"2024-05-29T21:56:57","slug":"configuring-ocx-files-error-rhel-8-9","status":"closed","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/innovationspace.ansys.com\/forum\/forums\/topic\/configuring-ocx-files-error-rhel-8-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Configuring OCX files&#8230; ERROR &#8211; RHEL 8.9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello,<\/p>\n<p>I have HFSS 24r1 installed on a RHEL 8.9 system and I keep seeing the following error when running the ConfigureSoftware.bash script:<\/p>\n<p>&gt; Running first-time configuration&#8230;<br \/>&nbsp; &#8211; *** Dependency verification test disabled by default ***<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; [ Use &#8216;export ANS_DEPCHECK=1 ; .\/ConfigureSoftware.bash &#8211;fullconfig&#8217; ]<br \/>&nbsp; &#8211; Retrieving user settings&#8230; Done<br \/>&nbsp; &#8211; Applying user settings&#8230; Done<br \/>&nbsp; &#8211; Configuring OCX files&#8230; ERROR<br \/>&nbsp; * \/app\/hfss\/hfss24r1\/v241\/Linux64\/controls.ocx : error 3<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &gt; RegSvr32: LoadLibrary(&#8220;\/app\/hfss\/hfss24r1\/v241\/Linux64\/controls.ocx&#8221;) failed.<br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &gt; GetLastError returns 0x0000007e.<\/p>\n<p>ConfigureSoftware.bash failed with errors.<\/p>\n<p>The same version and script appears to work on a RHEL 7.9 system. I am unsure if this is a package\/library issue or something else?
