I am attempting to generate a 3D ROM, but I am facing the following error during the update of the ROM Builder component:<\/p>\n

Update failure for 3D ROM in ROM Builder component. A call to the COM component returned the error HRESULT E_FAIL.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I have tried the following steps, but the problem persists:<\/p>\n

  1. Ensured that I have sufficient permissions to access and modify files and settings related to ANSYS.<\/li>\n
  2. Attempted to re-register the relevant COM components.<\/li>\n
  3. Updated ANSYS to the latest version.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I am experiencing this issue on Windows 11, but not on Windows 10. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue? Are there any other solutions or suggestions?<\/p>\n
